Finally….IT’S GRILLING SEASON!!
Here is a classic BBQ RUB that can be used whether your cooking on the grill or on the smoker.
It’s my husbands favorite rub, and he is a BARBECUE FANATIC!
A little sweet, a little smoky, a little heat.
Great on our Slow Smoked Ribs, Pulled Pork and St. Louis Style Pork Steaks.
- 1/2 cup paprika
- 1/4 cup redmonds salt or 1/2 cup of kosher salt
- 1/4 cup stevia/erythritol blend sweetener
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 1/4 cup cumin
- 2 TBSP garlic powder
- 2 TBSP onion powder
- 2 TBSP ground black pepper
- 2 TBSP mustard powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- Mix together well and store in an air-tight container for up to 6 months.

Hi, thank you for this recipe! Can I use xylitol granules instead of the stevia/erythritol?
You can but you would need to double the amount. Xylitol is not as sweet as stevia/erythritol.
